I do Freelance working... im selected to work some months in one thing... then other months in another thing... its not bad... and the paying is good too...

I am currently juggling work at the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary whilst trying to establish a full-time literary career...

Social Work, or more detailed: youth and youth culture work.

It's pretty fun since although I wear moderate clothes at work, the teenies recognize the style behind it (or think they do) and tend to see me as fellow Goth/Darkpunk/Emo/Visu/Otaku/[any subculture which can be interpreted in my clothes] which is really funny sometimes - of course I fully take advance of it, makes work a lot easier

During the day I am a tattoo/piercer.

BUT

After the lights go out I am a teenage mutant ninja turtle Haha!

I obsess over ideas I find interesting for a living ... nice work if you can get it. 

In other words, I'm a PhD student. I'm doing research on computational models of first language acquisition. Occassionally I get distracted and go and do stuff on the Philosophy of Science, or even a bit of Philosophy of Mind, then my supervisor tells me to "focus" and I get back to debugging my code. 

I'm a solider in the US Army and I'm currently deployed for the 3rd time I make halfway decent money but it blows cause i cant stand drama or dealing with everyone and the drama that comes with it I cant wait to get back state side and just go to my tattoo artist and say u know wat heres 3 grand do watever this crap is so fricking stressful but when im actually out there in iraq doing my job its cool. Just for once i would love to do absoulty nothing for a 24 hour period now that would be cool.

My paid job is Head Housekeeper in a nursing home.
I also provide temporary housing,recovery care/facilities and rehabilitation for reptiles,birds and small animals for a few local animal sanctuaries.
Also,I'm a practising herbalist and design and produce a small range of handmade clothing,jewellery,greetings cards and gift-wrap/boxes.
Add to that,I'm a single parent,and my days are fairly full all round

I hear it's a lot like high school.

I work in the marine industry, currently training as a third officer on the Great Lakes. Keeps me away from home a lot, but I like to travel so it's not all that bad....
