Beetlejuice is a 1988 American comedy horror fantasy film directed by Tim Burton, produced by The Geffen Film Company and distributed by Warner Bros. (It was also a Nickelodeon cartoon in the 1990s.)


Beetlejuice: The Animated Series is an American-Canadian animated television series loosely based on the film of the same name; it aired from September 9, 1989 to December 6, 1991. The television series was produced by Ellipse (France) and Nelvana (Canada) for The Geffen Film Company, with distribution handled by Warner Bros. Television, and starred Stephen Ouimette as Beetlejuice and Alyson Court as Lydia Deetz. The music and score for the series was composed by Ray Parker, Jr., Danny Elfman, and Tom Szczesniak
