Greetings, I am Loki-Tomoko Helvete. I was born in Canada, but have been living in Japan for the last 4 years, if you believe in nationalities or nations.

I began as a dark ambient/darkwave/martial industrial DJ for the event at www.sukisuki-elepo.com event in Osaka, and also was part of the Luciferrot(www.myspace.com/unvollkommen) fashion/art unit as a model and mask-maker and soundtrack composer for her fashion performances. I also did some interviews for Darkest Labyrinth and the Elepo Night event.

However, my main project is my music. My solo work goes under the name of Kanashibari. It is essentially ambient music covering a range of soundscapes from the dark and misanthropic to the dreamlike and surreal, borrowing experimental elements from all kinds of music, generally mimicking the sounds of the supernatural and of dreams.
I also have another collaboration project with Jeckyll, called Drowning in Sand, which is more ritualistic industrial/noise dealing with sounds of nature and the earthen elements.
A third project, which will be more along the lines of androgynous goth/darkwave in in conception.

Although I was born a caucasian male, I consider myself a transexual/transracial being, and am largely fond of the art of body modification as a means of transformation. Do not confuse transexualism with sexual orientation!! One's true gender comes from the soul from birth, not the libido or preference of mates!!
