Music...I sing soprano and play cello. My father is a jazz musician, and my mother has a beautiful voice. I feel very blessed to have gotten the best of both of their worlds!
Photography...enjoy taking pictures of stuff, then manipulating them into artistic creations using various effects.
Rally Cross...one day I really want to race - even own an STi.
Computers...total computer geek.
Last but not least - family...love spending time with them, and supporting them in all of their endeavors.
Suspense and thriller movies...but not slasher movies. I prefer classic monster movies...those dealing with Dracula, the wolfman, mummies, etc. Fascinated by movies which deal with the end of time and Revelations, or stories about demon possession and battles between good and evil.
Of course, most uncharacteristic, my favorite movie of all time is "The Breakfast Club". Don't really know why. I guess I felt like I could relate to what the characters were going through at the time...all 5 of them representing a different aspect of my life.
80s Punk, New Wave, Darkwave, and New Romanticism are at the top of my list. Lots of Bauhaus, the Cure, the Church, the Cult, Legendary Pink Dots, the Damned, Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Echo and the Bunnymen, Joy Division...the list goes on and on. I also enjoy black metal, goth rock, and industrial.
Happily married for 8 years, mother of three. I am a Christian Goth...I love God and my Savior, Jesus Christ. Many think that it isn't possible to be Christian AND Goth, but little do they know that Goth isn't about Satan worshiping or witchcraft...it also isn't about being depressed and angry all the time. We are simply a group of open-minded people who prefer some of the darker things in life. I've posted more details in my Gothers.com blog. Database administrator...Oracle. Before that it was network administration and PC end-user support. Still do a little of the latter on the side.
I also have been having trouble sleeping
From my research, I'm beginning to think mine is hormonal. I have been reading that imbalances can cause disruptions in sleep. So, I've decided to start keeping a journal, like I used to when I got regular headaches. See if I can find "triggers"...mood, stress of the day, particular foods, where I am in my cycle, etc. as this seems to be a regularlly occuring thing for me. I would say it was God, except that I am not having any epiphanies as I lie there awake.

Yes, 80's were like an alien. So different than before and actually. It was magic. Nothing compares to it. I wish I could go into the past and have 20 years old in 1980 !
