"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then He is not omnipotent. Is He able, but not willing? Then He is malevolent. Is He both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is He neither able nor willing? Then why call Him God?" --Epicurus

Video games, writing (not really Gothic literature; more studies I guess you could call some of them. A lot of the stories I write I think could be translated into manga/anime.), origami, walking, playing guitar, thinking, Japanese history and culture.

Elephant, Queen of the Damned, the Halloween series with the exception of Halloween 3, the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Ring and The Ring 2. Any horror, comedy, or anime will suffice. If anyone knows of a place in Ohio or Alabama where I can steal Battle Royale, I would really appreciate it. I'm starting to get into classic movies, thanks to TCM's Asian-American Images in Film Festival and the Frank Sinatra Festival. Some enjoyable classic movies are Bad Day at Black Rock, The Tea House of the August Moon, Sayonara, The World of Suzie Wong, La Belle et La Bete.

I'm open to almost anything: metal (and all sub-genres), rock, jazz, blues, folk, trance, techno, electronica, old school rap, some hip hop (I can't deal with the swill MTV spews at me nowadays). I can't stand pop and country. My favorite bands of all time are Deftones, Korn, Tool, and ikd-sj. Also interested in (in no particular order) My Dying Bride, Meshuggah, Mushroomhead, Dir en Grey, With Chaos in Her Wake, Dante's Ascension, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Gojira, Kittie, Frank Sinatra, Opeth, Otep, The Human Abstract, Massive Attack, Converge, Job for a Cowboy, ORESKABAND (picked them up on a whim), The Pillows, Maximum the Hormone, and NIN just to name a few.

Sarcasm here and there; independence; a sense of humor, dark or otherwise; light eyes; a gorgeous smile. I'm very partial to Asians, but I do not discriminate at all. Disregard my dating status; as of right now, it's an inside joke between me and someone else. I'm as single as they come and have no intention of changing that right now.

Jealousy that controls a woman's every thought to a point that I can't talk to a female friend with out her thinking that I'm flirting or plotting against her. Not much else that I can think of; I'm sure the ignorant masses would turn their noses up and stay away from this site.

I'm open-minded and uncommonly curious. I prefer darker themes than most people in America's Bible Belt, more specifically Sylacauga, Alabama, where I will go to school for the final year of my high school career. I've learned that non-Christians make more interesting friends than Christians in Alabama.
I don't judge; I don't hate--hating someone means you still think of them, and what better way to show dislike of a person than to deny their existence altogether? This is different from ignoring. To ignore a person means to push all memories of that person to the back of your mind and hope that they don't resurface; I declare to myself that they have fallen of the face of the earth and show apathy whenever I see or hear about them again. It can be difficult at times, but the relief of not having to stress over not meeting certain people to avoid conflict is immeasurable.
I am not a vampire, pagan, witch/wizard/warlock, etc. I am a ghost: I cast no shadow, but I make my presence known. I melt in the limelight and keep in the shadows; those who work the center stage will always need the help of those who work away from the audience's eye.
I believe that will do for now.
